LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions currently has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in our Oak Brook, IL headquarters. Reporting to the Controller, this position provides a variety of analytical support to the senior leadership team.  This is a high visibility position with significant opportunity to provide meaningful insights to the senior leadership team.

Job Duties

• Perform month end close responsibilities including journal entries, variance analysis, account reconciliations, and completion of financial statements
• Assist the Controller and CFO with preparation of monthly financial and quarterly Board packages
• Support the Controller and Leadership Team with preparation and analysis of weekly operating results
• Actively support and contribute to the Annual Budgeting process, including developing budgets by working with team members and department heads
• Prepare complex ad-hoc reporting and analysis as assigned

• Assist the CEO with M&A – financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction integration
• Prepare analyses, forecasts, and other reports for banks and investors
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Accounting department
• Support Accounting team as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of financial or accounting work experience
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Data-driven mindset with advanced Excel skills and Power BI preferred
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and deduction skills
• Ability to understand operations and sales and the financial results they create
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines
• High level of integrity and professionalism and the ability to maintain confidential information
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude with high level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
