Product Manager - Onboard Services

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Product Manager an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Our Client’s Onboard Services (OBS) team is leading an effort to transform how they do catering by building new, connected digital solutions for catering. They are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and experienced Product Manager to support the catering transformation effort. The Product Manager will combine business acumen, technical skills, and intellectual curiosity to drive the vision and development of an industry leading Catering system for Company.

The Product Manager will work across In Flight, Commercial, and IT to define a development plan, prioritize work, and support execution of initiatives that contribute to operational efficiencies, cost savings, and Flight Attendant/Customer satisfaction. The candidate will work to ensure development requests are well understood, ensure deliverables meet business needs, all while balancing long-term flexibility and speed to market.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Build strong working relationships with coworkers, partners, and company leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant work experience
• 3+ years developing technical documentation.
• 3+ years project managing long-term initiatives.
• 3+ years developing operationally executable test plans.
• Must be able to travel occasionally.
• Must be able to occasionally work nights/weekends.
• Must be self-motivated, intellectually curious, and results oriented; capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines and follow through.
• Must have strong attention to detail, the ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple requests with varying timelines.
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience - Preferred major in STEM field.
• 5+ years developing technical documentation.
• 5+ years project managing long-term initiatives.
• 5+ years developing operationally executable test plans.
• SQL experience desired - Experience with data extraction/manipulation using tools such as Python, SAS, Hyperion etc. is ideal

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Partner effectively with the Company IT organization, operational subject matter experts, and external partners in the execution of projects supporting the Catering Transformation – Special emphasis on Catering Asset Tracking.
• Design objective test plans with success criteria and metrics to benchmark performance of tracking solutions.
• Support in the execution and coordination of complex operational testing.
• Develop formal documentation to support training, installation guides, etc. and train business users on relevant topics.
• Conduct user interviews to support solution refinement.
• Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization to share priorities, roadmap, and key learnings.
