Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Component Technician - Wheel Shop Technician

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs repair/overhaul work for the component wheel/brake shop.
- Repairs and overhauls components and accessories are carried out in accordance with FAA and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair procedures and policies and ensures conformance to prescribed standards and tolerances.
- Carries out diagnostic, repair and overhaul tasks along with technicians and specialists, observing approved and prescribed procedures.
- Personally, carries out or assists specialists in carrying out technically complex repairs.
- Follows appropriate manual references and utilizes proper tools in performing their repair duties, mainly focused on wheel, landing gear and brake repairs.
- Follows production schedule; works with the shop Lead and Production Maintenance Supervisor to implement ways to remedy behind schedule conditions.
- Follows work orders and repair orders to see that all documentation has been completed; assists in the maintenance records and technical data required by the FAA.
- Monitors and tracks parts shortages, supports the ordering of materials to alleviate shortage conditions.
- Briefing Lead or Production Maintenance Supervisor concerning repairs for quotations.
- Creates purchase requisitions for parts and tooling required.
- Communicates any tooling requirements that may be needed to Lead or Production Maintenance Supervisor.
- Communications via e-mail, telephone, and in person may be required.
- Works with Lead to schedule any third-party vendor tasks or services.
Qualifications and requirements:
- High School/ GED
- A & P license preferred, relevant experience or repairman certificate may substitute for A & P license.

- As a Structural Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to assemble and/or create major assembly structures and minor part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming. You will be responsible for aligning parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures, and measuring parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. You also may be responsible for modifying incomplete and complete assemblies and incorporating the changes into the structure, and monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Must have own tools in good working order
- Ability to understand and interpret applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to complete installations per technical drawings while maintaining edge distance and pitch

Quality Control Inspector - Inspector is responsible for all inspections performed to ensure compliance to approved data, Federal Aviation Regulations, the RSQCM, and/or data acceptable to the administrator. This is an experienced-level position with no supervisory responsibilities that reports to the Chief Inspector.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications and requirements:
- Active/Valid A & P Certificate required.

- Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
- Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
- Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
- Work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays
- Work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
- Obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)
- Experience on corporate jet aircraft / commercial aircraft - preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record and document each inspection process in accordance with company documented procedures
- Create rejection reports for non-conforming parts.
- Perform and validate First Article Inspections per AS9102 or Customer’s specification.
- Ensure test equipment is within the adequate calibration status period for all measurement equipment and is conformed to the company’s preventive maintenance program.

- Inspect in-process and final parts and assemblies as they are built by Manufacturing.
- Perform electrical and/or mechanical function testing per Acceptance Test Procedures, as applicable.
