Job Description:
This is a full-time experienced Maintenance Mechanic position that is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Maintenance Mechanics are also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, and using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). Our experienced Maintenance Mechanics have extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. Maintenance Mechanics have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility and to operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc® welders for repair, and fabrication.
Responsibilites:

Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Utility Worker (MUE1) will assist in the processing of aircraft parts to help support Engine Maintenance's goals and objectives. In addition, this worker maintains the physical condition of equipment / facilities. They utilize appropriate detergents, solutions, and media equipment to effectively and efficiently accomplish shop / aircraft related functions, such as but not limited to; parts transportation, parts cleaning and processing parts. Candidates will be required to learn all maintenance utility processes and functions within the shop and be willing to help out wherever necessary. Candidates must be able to learn and use Delta's computer MIRS/GEM functions applicable to perform assigned jobs. - Expertly prepare and complete various documents for maintenance/ modification record keeping purposes, as required by FAA Airworthiness Regulations, Aviation Policies and Processes, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, including project turnovers, and personal training logs (OJT). Instruct and assist Tech I & Tech II in proper completion of documentation.
- Demonstrate proficient use of the Work Order system by completing accurate and timely listing of discrepancies, and completing accurate corrective action statements including completion of Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Directives (AD) compliance statements (ref. FAR §91.417).
- Willingly and effectively share knowledge and learned trusted techniques with lesser experienced technicians through the OJT program to foster their development, ensure accurate work, and support the department goals. Act as mentor and task expert for new service personnel.
- Proficiently and consistently locate and uses the appropriate technical data to accomplish any and all tasks.
- Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes.
- Leads aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and Supervisor. Capable of accepting ownership of the assigned project work scope and established milestones relative to the successful and timely completion of in-work projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will be assembling small General Aviation aircraft.
- These are agricultural aircraft (crop duster, fertilizer/pesticide dropper) and firefighting aircraft.
- Assemblers will go to Wings, Fuselage, Sub-Assembly, or Control Surface
- We are looking for a competent aircraft sheet metal mechanic to assemble complex sheet metal components for our aircraft, including control surfaces, wings, various structural assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
- Must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines.
- A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also essential.
- Must be proficient with the use of various sheet metal tools to layout rivet patterns, trim, drill, contour, rivet, and install aircraft parts and assemblies to blueprint and specification.
- Thorough understanding of drill sizes, selection, correct rivet selection, and proper rivet installation techniques per the engineering requirements, engineering specifications, and/or the FAA specification.
- The goal is to install parts and sub-assemblies onto aircraft while maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Assemble complex sheet metal components, control surfaces, wings, various structural assemblies, and sub-assemblies
- Analyze and understand aircraft blueprints, specifications, and maintenance manuals to assemble aircraft and make repairs
- Ensure all assemblies and installations are up to FAA and Thrush design specifications
- Safely operate various tools used for sheet metal applications (rivet guns, drills, die grinders, snips, shears, English wheel, and etc.)
