Candidate will be assigned to either a feeder (feeding aluminum in to the machine), cutter (taking final product and cutting it to client requirements), or both.
Operators:
- Replace Tools & items used to define areas (Workplace Cleanliness & Organization)
- Keep Clean & Neat as possible during and after your respective shift.
- Document Scrap throughout the day.
- Follow Standard Work, Control Plan Checks as written and provided by the Paint Technician & Management.
- Maintain acceptable levels of production.
- Wear PPE Personal Protective Equipment as required for your respective area.
- Assist team with staging work in process materials and racks.
- Assist in change overs for colors and or profiles as directed by the Team Leader/Paint Tech.
- Communicate pertinent information to your respective Team Leader/Paint Tech.
- Provide ideas and share knowledge with other shift personnel.
- Assist in maintaining the visual boards with information supporting your respective shift.
Feeder:
- Assure parts are staged for feeding the line.
- Confirm correct parts, size, profile, gauge, length, for the current ROG to be produced.
- Confirm paint conveyor and paint spray booth are operating correctly.
- Confirm the paint is sprayed correctly and evenly on the parts with the Team Leader.
- Maintain consistent flow of parts being input into the line.
- Repeat above procedures when a ROG change occurs at the line.
Cutter:
- Inspect parts to assure parts have acceptable paint coverage and finish coming out of laser drill.
- Re-clip parts for cutting.
- Maintain flow to keep pace with the parts coming out of the line.
- Stack clips on the saw for cutting and start the saw when full.
- Ensure the length of cuts on the saw are correct per the current ROG being produced.
- Perform finished parts ends after saw has completed cutting.
- Pack finished parts into finished packing containers.
- Complete all paperwork for ROGs with Team Leader.
- Repeat above procedures when a ROG change occurs at the line.
Floater:
- Floater performs all functions of Feeder and Cutter in absence of feeder or cutter.
- Assists all Operators and Team Leader when full crews are present.
- Assists and cleans all lines/areas when full crews are present.
Safety and General Maintenance Expectations:
- No extension cords on floor, request an electrical drop(tripping & electrical hazard)
- No oil leaks (maintenance requests should be initiated)
- Safety glasses for production personnel – Required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a Structural Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform variety of our operations procedures to assemble and/or create major assembly structures and minor part-fitting operations. You'll translate blueprints into fabrications of structural assemblies to include basic layout, precision drilling, countersinking and the use of calibrated tools, align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures perform part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming and measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. You'll also be responsible for modifying incomplete and complete assemblies and incorporating the changes into the structure, monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures, performing various maintenance duties and ensuring appropriate representation and communications occur between team members, team leads, quality control and engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Be on time and ready to work at assigned start time.
- Follow through with tasks assigned by leads.
- Communicate any build needs to leads.
- (Avionics) Ring out harnesses before install.
- Short stamp any work that is started but not complete during the shift.
- Stamp work when complete.
- Have QA inspect work before the end of shift or beginning of the next shift if QA is unavailable.
- Provide leads with a detailed turnover of work accomplished.
- Clean work area (in aircraft / bench / toolbox).
- Ensure FOD barriers are in use and secured.
- Make sure ALL connectors have ESD Caps.
- Place in work kits in the correct bins at the end of shift.
- Charge time to correct charge codes.
- Ensure common stock and DQCI tracking is correct.
- Target to have work inspected once, with no rejects.
- Take pride in your work.
- Ask questions. Do not assume anything if direction is unclear.
- Mentor/train fellow technicians.
- Communication to Leads/Management when personal schedule conflicts.
- Work to our SNC established policies and procedures.
Must-haves:

Duties Include:
- Working from drawings, blueprints, sketches, written procedures, planned work orders, technical work orders, work cards and/or any other authorized reference material as required to complete assigned work.
- Performing electrical modifications, aircraft inspections or repairs, sometimes in confined spaces.
- Checks, tests, and troubleshoots electrical systems for conformance to specifications and performs repair, removal, and reinstallation of wiring as necessary. Sometimes in confined spaces.
- Use of company computer systems for work documentation and retrieval of production related documents
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:
- May substitute 2 years of experience with completion of Airframe and Power plant schooling or A&P certificate
- Must be able to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and aircraft tow vehicles. Requires flight line physical.
